The 2018 Magnus Magnusson Prize has been awarded to Caitlin Ellis for her paper entitled: ‘Impressions of a Twelfth-Century Maritime Ruler – Someled: Viking warrior, Clan Chieftain or Traitor to the Scottish King?’ (which will be published in Northern Studies). We were thrilled that Caitlin Ellis was able to accept her award in person from our President, Colleen Batey, at our AGM.
